About Sri Mantra Peeteshwari Peetam Swamigal
On January 17, 1984, during the auspicious month of Pushya and under the Arudra Nakshatra, Shri Swamigal was born in Bhaskara Kshetram, Kumbakonam, to the blessed parents Smt. Rama and Raja Raman. He is a proud descendant of the illustrious Periyavachan Pillai Dynasty. From a young age, Shri Swamigal showed a deep inclination towards spirituality. In 2004, guided by the grace of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Shri Swamigal resided at Kalavai Shri Matam Adishtanam for 4 years (became popularly known as Kalavai swamiji), conducting poojas, Durga Sapthashati Parayanam, and Shri Vidya Aradhana. During the Shri Shankara Jayanti Utsava in 2008, in the presence of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and other esteemed figures, Shri Swamigal was initiated into monastic life and given the name Shri Sadhanandendra Saraswathi, with blessings for Shri Mantra Peeteshwari Peetam.
Shri Sadhanandendra Saraswathi Swamigal subsequently embarked on a pilgrimage and, in 2015, with the support of the Radha Krishna Goshala Trust, established Shri Mantrapeeteshwari Peetam at Vyasaraghatta, also known as Hesaraghatta, in Bangalore, Karnataka. At the Peetam, Dharma Karyas and poojas of Shri Mangala Narayani Devi, Sarva Mantra Swarupini, and Shri Vidya Poojas are regularly performed. Shri Swamigal’s Parameshti Guru, Shri Anandanandanathar Painganadu Shri Sundara Shastri, was a distinguished Shri Vidya Upasaka who conferred Shri Vidya Mantra Deeksha upon Shri Kanchi Paramacharya, earning the honorific title “Mantra Murthy.”
Shri Swamigal regularly visited Shri Mantra Peeteshwari Sametha, Shri Adi Kumbeshwara Swami. In 1999, he received the Shri Vidya Mantra Upadesha through the grace of Jagadguru Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and Shri Prakashanandanatha of Shri Purnaa Nanda Mandali.
Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal also blessed him with a Divya Mangala Vigraham of Sarva Mantra Swarupini Shri Mangala Narayani, which led to daily Trikal Poojas. Following the guidance of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Shri Swamigal served at Vellore Shri Narayani Peetam and stayed in holy places such as Rishikesh, Tiruvannamalai, and Chidambaram, continuing his regular pooja and Veda Parayanam.

Early Life and Spiritual Initiation

Significance of Vyasaraghatta
The region of Vyasaraghatta (Hesaraghatta) is believed to be named after Sage Vyasa, who performed tapas (spiritual penance) in this area, imbuing it with spiritual significance. The presence of Sage Vyasa adds deep cultural and religious importance to the establishment of Shri Mantra Peeteshwari Peetam.
