About Sri Mantra Peeteshwari Peetam Swamigal
The mission of Shri Swamiji is to guide humanity on the path of Sanatana Dharma, promoting the Vedic tradition and its practices. Shri Mantra Peeteswari Peetam, under his guidance, serves as a revered spiritual center dedicated to the advancement of Sanatana Dharma and the Shanmatha Upasana path.
Shri Swamigal was born on January 17, 1984, during the auspicious month of Pushya and under the Arudra Nakshatra, in Bhaskara Kshetram, Kumbakonam, to the blessed parents Smt. Rama and Shri Raja Raman. He is a descendant of the illustrious Periyavachan Pillai Dynasty. From a young age, he showed a deep inclination towards spirituality. His Brahmopadesham was performed at the age of 7, and he was sent to Patashala to study Samaveda.
Shri Swamigal spent 8 years studying Samaveda at Shri Raja Veda Kavya Patashala, Kumbakonam. He regularly visited Shri Mantrapeeteshwari Sametha and Shri Adi Kumbeshwara Swami. In 1999, he received the Shri Vidya Mantra Upadesha from Jagadguru Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. He was also blessed with a Divya Mangala Vigraham of Sarva Mantra Swarupini Shri Mangala Narayani, which led to daily Trikal Poojas.
Under the guidance of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Shri Swamigal served at Vellore Shri Narayani Peetam and stayed in holy places such as Rishikesh, 1 Rishikesh, Tiruvannamalai, and Chidambaram, continuing his regular rituals and Veda Parayanam. In 2004, he resided at Kalavai Shri Matam Adishtanam for 4 years, conducting poojas, Durga Sapthashati Parayanam, and Shri Vidya Aradhana.
Shri Swamigal regularly visited Shri Mantra Peeteshwari Sametha, Shri Adi Kumbeshwara Swami. In 1999, he received the Shri Vidya Mantra Upadesha through the grace of Jagadguru Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal of Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam and Shri Prakashanandanatha of Shri Purnaa Nanda Mandali.
Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal also blessed him with a Divya Mangala Vigraham of Sarva Mantra Swarupini Shri Mangala Narayani, which led to daily Trikal Poojas. Following the guidance of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Shri Swamigal served at Vellore Shri Narayani Peetam and stayed in holy places such as Rishikesh, Tiruvannamalai, and Chidambaram, continuing his regular pooja and Veda Parayanam.

For 4 years, Swamigal was conducting poojas, Durga Sapthashati Parayanam, and Shri Vidya Aradhana. He was fondly called as Kalavai Swamigal during this time. During the Shri Shankara Jayanti Utsava in 2008, in the presence of Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal and other esteemed personalities, Shri Swamigal was initiated into monastic life and given the name Shri Sadhanandendra Saraswathi, with blessings for Shri Mantrapeeteshwari Peetam. Shri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal also blessed him with a revered Shri Chakram (believed to be 2000 years old) and murtis of various deities, including Ganapati, Surya, Eshwara, Vishnu, Subramanya, and Shri Adi Shankara Bhagwadpada Paduka. Subsequently, Shri Sadhanandendra Saraswathi Swamigal embarked on a pilgrimage and, in 2015, established Shri Mantrapeeteshwari Peetam at Vyasaraghatta (Hesaraghatta) in Bangalore, Karnataka, with the support of the Radha Krishna Goshala Trust.
